Doubletree By Hilton New York Times Square West, New York

The hotel had fairly large rooms for a New York hotel, allowing for close interaction. The rooms were a bit small, especially the bathrooms, but overall acceptable. The location was convenient, about a 10-minute walk from Times Square. The dining experience was good for starting a day in New York, while room service was consistent but overpriced. The facilities were satisfactory, with some limitations.

When we arrived at 6 pm, the check-in process was disorganized, but once we settled in, the cozy room made up for it, providing a great stay despite its lack of view. The service offered a pleasant experience overall, although the audacity to suggest a room on the 36th floor closer to the bar or earplugs for the music was a bit off. The location, near Times Square and the metro, was convenient, although the area felt a little unsafe at times. The dining experience was good but a bit pricey, setting us up for a great day in New York. Not having buffet options was a downside. The facilities offered were satisfactory.
